PRODUCT OVERVIEW

PROVISIONAL PATENT ACTIVE THROUGH 2024

Provisional patent valid through January 5, 2024. The functional application and construction is protected intellectual property while a utility and design patent are being completed.

At this time, none of the displays are for public sale. All prototypes are made with untested materials and were constructed uniquely to assess different methods of assembly. This is an invite-only R&D program. You are encouraged to use the displays and they can appear on your social media and/or livestreams, but please do not directly promote any of the items you receive as they are prototypes and will not be available for anyone to order until the test phase has concluded.

How to Use

Watch video for a detailed look on how to put cards in and take cards out of the displays. To put a card in the display case, insert at an angle below the top panel that slightly overlaps the card area. To remove a card from the display case, simply turn the display case upsidedown and gently remove card. Make sure that the display case is able to lean against a stable surface. The card will stay in the display as long as the case is tilted at a slight angle. Displays do not protect cards from damage or wear.

Care & Cleaning

Keep out of reach of children. The durability of product prototypes is untested and all displays should be handled with care. Remove dust and smudges by gently polishing surface with microfiber cloth (included in your prototype package). Do not submerge in water or spray any cleaning solutions or chemicals of any kind on the surface. To prevent possible warping, do not leave cases in direct sunlight and/or store in extreme heat. Not for outdoor use. Care instructions apply to all prototypes, including the any custom name tags.

Materials & Construction

Displays are made of multiple layers of laser cut cast acrylic (plexiglass). No parts are 3D printed. All displays are assembled individually by hand and have the option to attach custom name tags to the bottom. Name tags included with prototypes are not included in the review and were created as bonus items for the first round of product testers. Name tags are made from acrylic and customized with permanent sign vinyl and sealed with a gloss top coat paint.*Note: The (4) buttons at the top (large blue and small red, yellow, green) are made from permanent vinyl sealed with epoxy resin. Buttons are 100% aesthetic and have no functional purpose other than to accurately reflect that of a Pokédex. If cleaning/polishing the top where the buttons are, be gentle as the top layer of resin can detach from the surface. Materials/construction of the buttons are being revised for phase 2.

Replacements

Replacements for any broken prototypes will be granted on a case-by-case basis. You can request a replacement for any broken or damaged products when you receive the follow-up feedback form that will be sent to you via email. If you did not submit the confirmation form when you received your prototype package, you will not be eligible for the next round of prototypes or free replacements.
